A new begining

Posted by Mike On January - 17 - 2008

It’s a new beginning in more ways than one for me. In the past weeks or so, things have been so crazy for me on the personal front but I bet you are not here to read about some sob stories, so I will spare you from the torture. Let’s move along and talk about our common interest.

Here we are at the brand new blog design. The design may be new but the focus will remain the same as the old blog. This blog will continue to be a one stop place for the hunting community and will strive to provide you with all the latest news in the treasure hunt scene.

I hope you like the new look and feel of this blog. I’m very grateful for the help of this young and talented man Praveen, without whom this new blog design would not have been a reality.

I’m actually very eager to be on the road again, both hunting and clerking. It will be a healthy distraction for me at this point.

Here’s to another good year of treasure hunting. See you on the road.

How about this hunt, Mike. Know anything about it? I wonder if it’s the same kind of “treasure hunts” that we are familiar with?

I’m not sure of the format but it’s by TOS, so can’t be far off.

ckoh, doesn’t read like your cup of tea. Believe its an observation / spotting kind of “event”.
eg. Name me the second MCA President. You can find me within the booths on Level 1.

Ckoh: Sorry, I didn’t read Mike’s reponse. Didn’t realise it will be done by TOS. Reads like one of those people that is misusing the words “treasure hunt”.

Sounds very much like an ordinary walk-hunt, but focusing on “topics of national development”. If I were to participate, I’d probably fail miserably! Maybe we can expect something like:

    Q) French spiderman failed to reach its top twice.

And that is if the joker doesn’t make another attempt before this Sunday!… hehehe.

BTW, talking about misusing the term “treasure hunt”, I wonder if there’ll be another STFOGA this year. That hunt caused quite a stir last year, huh?

Yo Mike! Thanks for the late inclusion of a section for hunt bounties for sale – Hunters Classified.

To all ‘commentors’ – we are all in the hunt community, let’s use our real identity not pseudonyms, nothing to be ashamed of right? Be proud of the name given to you by your parents, I believe every name has been carefully thought through and carries a beautiful meaning and intepretation.

Just to share with all who are thinking of the Laos trip offered for this upcoming Sunday’s MCA Hunt – I was informed that you that knowing Mandarin is not a requirement BUT you will be disadvantaged!!!

    Cheers!
