This year, there will be only ONE category—the OPEN catergory, i.e. open to all—unlike in previous years where there were OPEN and CLOSED categories.

An “amazing race”-like hunt where some physical challenges and games of chance are to be performed by hunters (Yes, coconut bowling was one of them; and no, there’s no advantage to delay performing the task—the coconuts didn’t get any rounder after several throws); and tulip-less sectors for several questions.

Those of you who’ve been trying to compete in the Explorace, but were not selected, could join this hunt to get the feel something very similar!

Some KL masters are already confirmed onboard! I know some others are entertaining the idea of trying out their luck out here in the east. With that kind of prizes, I know more will come!

For a moment there, I thought RM200 per team includes a 1N stay at Nexus. Was going like..”What the..?! So dirt cheap!!” Haha…then realized that it was a local KK hunt.

    Prizes look fantastic… feeling tempted.

Very funny, claire dear—RM200 including a night at Nexus, huh? A night at Nexus alone cost about double that amount!

Yeah, I suppose the prizes are attractive. But be prepared for the games/challenges. Based on what I was told the last time I was in KL, last year’s winners will be coming full force this time round! But I happen to know that at least one of their team members—would you believe it—doesn’t know how to ride a bicycle! So Dom/TOS, if you are reading this, please make one of the challenges something to do with bicycle-riding!

Hi, I am haji suhaimi, also known as Hagi during my active hunting days in mid 80s to mid 90s. My peak year was probably 1993 where I participated in more than 20 hunts and scored several first, second and third placings. Made a comeback during the OGA Hunt in December 2007. I am very keen to participate in the coming KK City Tourism Hunt but could not raise a team. And therefore, is offering myself to any team that is short of 1 guy. I could be contacted at 016-9460371 or suhaimi_zabidin@yahoo.com. Cheers and Happy Hunting.

    Hi Hj Suhaimi,

Try to get in touch with the Johan-Dr Ben-Sam trio. They’re hunting in the KK City Tourism Hunt; and the last time I checked they had one vacancy. In the mean time, I will also find out from Johan if the vacancy has been filled.
